SoundScape

SoundScape is a dynamic portfolio project that showcases my expertise in big data architecture and full-stack development. Over a span of three months, from February to April 2023, I spearheaded the development of a cutting-edge song-recommending system. This system seamlessly integrates Spotify APIs and a Spark recommendation engine into a Flask backend, ensuring robustness and scalability. To enhance the user experience, I crafted an interactive and user-friendly ReactJS frontend, making navigation a breeze. By optimizing system performance to handle vast amounts of data, we achieved lightning-fast song recommendations in under 15 seconds, significantly improving user satisfaction. My role in this 6-member team involved full-stack development and effective collaboration, demonstrating my skills in data processing, backend development, and front-end design.
