Gator Trader: E-Commerce Website

"Gator Trader: E-Commerce Website" was a collaborative software engineering project that I led as the Backend Lead within a global team of seven students over a span of three months from September to December 2019. Our mission was to create an innovative Buy & Sell platform tailored specifically to school location parameters. Leveraging modern teamwork practices and Software Engineering processes, we meticulously developed the "Gator Trader" web application, following the MVC design model and adopting an Agile/Scrum Development approach to ensure efficient project management. My primary responsibility was designing and developing the MySQL Database, seamlessly integrating it with the frontend for a cohesive user experience. By effectively employing JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, MySQL, AWS, HTML, and Bootstrap, we successfully delivered a feature-rich e-commerce platform that met our goals and deadline, demonstrating our proficiency in software engineering and web development.
